Famous Ancestors
This section contains biographies of some of my more interesting ancestors.
All the ancestors in this section are ancestors in some way of Rebecca Luther, my 5th great grandmother. In each biography I will show how they are related to Rebecca, and therefore how they related to me.
Many of these ancestors are the ancestors of Rebecca’s maternal grandmother Mary Bacon, starting with the first one Nathaniel Bacon, Mary’s father and therefore Rebecaa’s great grandfather, who was a Rebel in Colonial Virginia.
Next, is Elizabteh Brooke (nee Culpepper) who was Nathaniel’s maternal grandmother.
